We are looking for a fun and energetic team member with a desire to work in the heights area. You must be smiley, polite, and have a positive attitude!
This position is part time. Pay is $10 an hour
Shifts available are:
Tues-Sat 11-3 pm, 5:30-9:30 pm
Bittersweet is a walk-up cookie shop. We pride ourselves in serving only our best work to customers.
Job Purpose: provide a genuine sense of hospitality and exceed guests expectations by providing friendly, authentic, and enthusiastic experience with perfect service.
Duties and Responsibilities: The primary job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Must be passionate about cookies
Must learn and be knowledgeable of the menus (main menu, petite menu, specialty menu, gelatos, and drinks menu)
Prepare service area and display for morning, afternoon, or evening service
Must ensure all guests are well taken care of: monitoring quality control and guest satisfaction
Ability to interact socially with guests in a polite and friendly manner
Take guests orders, package correctly
Food handling, food prep and FIFO
Confident and professional salesmanship
Cash handling including credit card payments utilizing a POS system
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks effectively and quickly
Must adhere to sanitation and proper food safety protocol
Answering and directing customer questions in a professional manner
Close attention to detail
